In July 2021, I accidentally started a vintage reselling endeavor online, quickly building a following on Instagram and then adding boutique space locally at Yesterday's Treasures Today in Dickson, TN.
Nearly one year later, it is an unexpected joy to be among a community of vintage resellers and customers on Instagram, with a following of nearly 3,000 people! My knowledge of vintage glass, pottery, books, and so much more grows daily in large part due to the generous sharing among the IG reselling community.
My gratitude abounds for the hundreds of customers in more than 35 states who have trusted me with their purchases and shipping. And it has been exciting to expand my physical boutique space at YTT, a 10,000 square foot vintage and antique shop not far from home.
What next? This remains a part-time small business for me, but I'll soon be selling live on WhatNot (app), via my website, and Etsy.
